Federico Pifferi

Federico Pifferi graduated from University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy in 2011, cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently studying Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in Automotive Engineering, at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy) as his Master Degree. Federico is spending a 6 months internship at the Simulation Group, working on his Master Degree Final Thesis. He is developing the electromechanical system for the Ocular and Craniofacial Trauma Simulator at the Simulation Group. His work requires Computer Aided Design and Engineering competences, which he has widely studied during classes of both his degrees and has applied in his past working and laboratory experiences. He had the chance to approach the development of robotic systems within the "Robot and Automatic Machines Design" course at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, taught by Professor Giovanni Berselli, who is also his actual Italian advisor.
